This year, we are proud to be a part of the Melbourne International Film Festival's (MIFF) Food & Film series, paired with Icelandic Film 'The Love That Remains'.
From award-winning writer/director Hlynur Pálmason, the film follows the life of a family of five navigating the throes of separation, set against the sweeping scenescapes of the quiet Icelandic countryside. Hailed by critics as "unexpectedly playful and romantic", it is a tender capture of "the adventure, wonder and magic of everyday moments and the intimacy we share with our families", co-starring Panda, the family dog (and winner of the Cannes Palm Dog).
To this backdrop, Head Chef Juan has crafted an exquisite menu - referencing Icelandic dishes and the sea.
'The Love That Remains' premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
We hope you will join us for an unforgettable evening, after the screening at RMIT The Capitol.
